On a long drive this morning, I opted to listen to Overly Dedicated, one of his mixtapes. I enjoyed the mixtape as a whole, but “Heaven and Hell” was one that jumped out. Kendrick’s social commentary in this song reminds me of “Hurt Me Soul,” the song that made me really fall in love with Lupe Fiasco’s Food and Liquor.
